A basic understanding of obedience is critical for any dog to live successfully with humans and other animals. K9SF offers a number of obedience programs that can be tailored to suit your needs, your dog's abilities, your time-frame and your budget. Most of our classes are offered as private one-on-one sessions either in our Minneapolis office or at your home but we also have a number of Board & Train or group class offerings as well.
Level 1: The Fundamentals
Our 4-session Level 1 course is the perfect choice for dog owners who want to establish a solid foundation of basic obedience with their furry companions. This one-on-one private instruction program is tailored to suit dogs of all breeds and sizes, and is ideal for dogs who are new to training or have minimal training experience. During the sessions, we will work on commands such as "sit," "stay," "come," "heel" and "off" in a low-distraction environment, as well as on-leash handling and basic manners. Whether you have a new puppy, an adult dog, or a senior dog, this program will provide you with basic skills and tools you need to communicate effectively with your dog.
